Micro stop drills

The product has been developed jointly with Aerospace customer who is already working with LBB26 Atlas Copco drill combined with separated micro stop cage. This new LBS26 drill is intended for qualified operation in Aerospace and other industries.

Twist Lock with Rapid Advance: PFD 1500
PFD1500 has all the torque and thrust needed to drill and ream in hard metals. The twist lock system offers a secure way of clamping and the optional indexer allows clamping also in areas with restricted access. The Rapid Advance feature increases productivity and saves on lubrication as the cutter can be fast forwarded to the aircraft part and run down time is shortened significantly. ChipLet® can be added as an optional feature for efficient chip breakage and chip collection. This specific model of PFD1500 is suitable for large diameters and hard metal drilling.
Twist Lock: PFD 1500
PFD1500 has all the torque and thrust needed to drill and ream in hard metals. The twist lock system offers a secure way of clamping and the optional indexer allows clamping also in areas with restricted access. ChipLet® can be added as an optional feature for efficient chip breakage and chip collection. This specific model of PFD1500 is suitable for most applications and hole sizes.

The inboard lubricator is easy to use and secures supply of lubrication to the cutting tool throughout the drilling process. This specific model of PFD1100 is suitable for both drill with countersink and drill only in thin stacks and relatively small hole diameters.

PFD1100 with concentric collet for drill only offers an ergonomic and quick way of clamping. Increase in productivity also comes from the high powered turbine motor which allows the tool to be used in most type of applications around component manufacturing and final assembly. The inboard lubricator is easy to use and secures supply of lubrication to the cutting tool throughout the drilling process. ChipLet® can be added as an optional feature for efficient chip breakage and chip collection. For drill only applications the cutting tool is precisly guided by a bushed mandrel which still allows chip evacuation through the vacuum port. This specific model of PFD1100 is suitable for drill only applications without countersink in thin to medium stacks of small to moderate sized hole diameters.
Concentric Collet Drill Only: PFD 1100
PFD1100 with twist lock can drill and ream in all type of common materials. Increase in productivity comes from the high powered turbine motor which allows the tool to be used in most type of applications around component manufacturing and final assembly. The inboard lubricator is easy to use and secures supply of lubrication to the cutting tool throughout the drilling process. ChipLet® can be added as an optional feature for efficient chip breakage and chip collection. This specific model of PFD1100 is suitable for all stacks and hole sizes without countersink.
