LSS Series
LSS vertical grinders have a robust design and are suitable for rough grinding on open surfaces and cutting off operations. All the tools are fitted with a speed governor as standard to ensure optimum process speed at all times. Selected models offer an Autobalancer as standard that reduces unbalanced forces and, in turn, vibrations.

For rough grinding on open surfaces with cup wheels or wire brushes. Applications of this type call for tools with high power outputs.

GTG40 is powered by a turbine motor, which gives an extremely high power-to-weight ratio compared to a vane motor. In addition, the efficiency of a turbine motor is much higher and reduces energy consumption for the same specific job by up to 40% compared to a conventional vane grinder.

LSS vertical grinders have a rigid design that gives reliability and long service intervals.

For straight wheels
Straight grinders are normally used when grinding inside larger cavities or on open surfaces.
LSR 43/48/64 tools are durable and ideal for tougher applications. The LSR 48 has an Autobalancer as standard to minimize vibrations. LSR 28 is for lighter applications where accessibility is the first priority. A highly efficient dampening system minimizes vibration.

For cone wheels
Straight grinders with cone wheels or collets are suitable for grinding or smoothing of edges, welds, holes and cavities in castings. They require rough abrasives, which must be attached to the tool with a rigid shank or to be mounted directly to the spindle. The power ranges from 0.7 kW to 2 kW.
