GTG40 Cup Wheel Grinder

You get power and durability

Atlas Copco’s GTG40 is proof that a powerful machine tool can also be easy to handle. It is the perfect tool for rough grinding on open surfaces with cup wheels or wire brushes. GTG40 is powered by a turbine motor, which gives an extremely high power-to-weight ratio compared to a vane motor. In addition, the efficiency of a turbine motor is much higher and reduces energy consumption for the same specific job by up to 40% compared to a conventional vane grinder. Applications of this type call for tools with high power outputs.

  • High power-to-weight ratio
  • Turbine motor
  • Very safe and durable wheel guard
  • Compact and light
  • Low vibrations

  • Low noise
  • Maintained process speed
  • Long service intervals
